Since I run my own online marketing company, I go through computers very quickly and buy a new one almost annually. My last computer was an eMachines and it was great, however it’s life span was running out and was performing slow and giving me some software problems since there was so much data and usage packed into the system. I went to my local Best Buy store to see what the latest desktops available were, and I came across the beautiful Sony VAIO LS37E desktop and immediately fell in love it. The thought of having a full desktop system all packed into the back of the monitor is simply amazing. However, such technology comes with a hefty price. The system was on display for $2,049.99, with no discounts or rebates.

Pros: The Sony VAIO LS37E has an amazing flat screen with
Sony’s XBRITE Hi-Color panel technology. The quality and color is absolutely amazing and the best I have seen on any system. The system also comes fully loaded with Microsoft Vista. Only one cable cord for power, no messy cable cord messes or having a big lankly processor box.
Cons: I am still not sure if this is a Windows Vista problem or a Sony VAIO problem, but once in a while I am given the dreaded "Blue Screen". This happened several times while I was attempting to play "World of Warcraft", and another time while working on regular word type applications. Once this blue screen comes up, you are forced to reset the computer. I expected more of the built in camera and it’s features, and I now rarely use it.

Ending Review: If you have the money and are looking for a top of the line computer with high processing power and for entertainment purposes, than I would recommend the Sony VAIO LS37E. If you simply need a new computer for running average applications, watching videos and just internet surfing, I would look for a lower end system which will save you in excess of $1,000, while giving you everything you need to work efficiently.
